On 30 September 2025, the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty published a new circular regarding the duties and taxes applicable to energy products.
This update includes the revised rates of the levy collected on behalf of the Professional Committee of Strategic Petroleum Stocks (CPSSP), effective since 1 October 2025.
These regulatory changes directly affect economic operators and importers of petroleum and energy products, who must ensure their reporting and invoicing procedures are aligned with the new requirements.
