Secondment: update 30 July 2020

As of 30 July 2020, employees seconded over a period of more than twelve months will be subject to all provisions of the labor code.

For secondments over a period of less than twelve months, the basics of labor law will continue to apply (provisions relating to minimum wages, work hours, health and safety at work). Possibility to extend this period up to 18-months in the prior declaration of SIPSI secondment.

This 12-month threshold will have no consequences in terms of social security: Posted workers remain liable for payment of social contributions in their country of origin thanks to the production of form A1.
